DYQR.me (“we”, “us”) provides short links, QR code generation, and optional file hosting (“Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to DYQR.me and our web apps under the dyqr.me domain. It does not cover third‑party websites you visit via a short link.

Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: email, optional profile information (name, avatar), and authentication-related data needed to sign in.
  • Short links and QR configuration: alias, destination URL, QR styling options, and related metadata.
  • Uploaded content (if you use upload features): file name, file type, file size, and storage identifiers required to host and deliver the file.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device data: basic request metadata such as timestamps, pages/actions, and technical data that may be present in server logs (e.g., IP address and user agent) for security and debugging.
  • Analytics: aggregated click/usage metrics for links (e.g., totals and time‑series statistics).

Payment and subscription information

If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by a third‑party payment provider (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers. We may receive subscription status and related metadata needed to provide paid features.

How we use information

  • Provide and operate the Services: create links, generate QR codes, host files, and deliver redirects/content.
  • Security and abuse prevention: detect fraud, phishing, malware distribution, or abusive traffic; enforce rate limits and plan limits.
  • Link safety checks: when you submit an external destination URL, we may send the URL to Google Safe Browsing to assess whether it is flagged as harmful.
  • Product improvement: debug issues, measure performance, and improve reliability and user experience.
  • Legal compliance: comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • keep you signed in and maintain session state,
  • remember basic preferences,
  • protect the Services (security and abuse prevention).

If we display third‑party content (such as ads) on an interstitial page, those providers may set their own cookies or use similar technologies. Your browser settings may allow you to limit or block cookies.

Third-party services

We rely on third‑party infrastructure providers to operate the Services, including:

  • Cloudflare (networking, security, Workers, KV, D1, and R2 storage)
  • Google Safe Browsing (destination URL safety checking)
  • Payment providers (for subscriptions, if you choose to purchase)
